Taught by Donovan Monroe

Millions of people around the world suffer from repetitive strain injuries.  All too often doctors and the public turn towards pain pills and surgery before they every consider massage therapy as an option for rehabilitation.  Truth is, many repetitive strain injuries can be resolved with advanced massage techniques and almost all can be prevented with a better understanding of the underlying physiological mechanisms.  This calls is designed to teach 12 of the most common repetitive strain injuries that affect the upper extremities, including the varying causes, symptoms, popular treatments, and preventative measures.  Effective treatments incorporate myofascial release, triffer point, deep tissue, PNF, and advanced massage techniques.

Donovan Monroe, LMT #10214 maintains a busy practice in Portland.  He has worked in natural health clinics and in private practice for over 10 years.  Donovan has assisted and taught at various seminars and schools.
