Kinesiology and Palpation Review Workshop for LMTs

Instructor Heather Howald, LMT (Lic#19402), CA, is an Instructor in LCC's Massage Therapy Pre-licensure program. She teaches Introduction to Palpation Upper Body and the two day Palpation Review Intensive Seminar for the OBMT Practical Exam. She has also taught Introduction to Palpation Lower Body in the past.

As we move away from our experiences in our OBMT Practical Exam, many times the rote memorization we used to fill our minds with muscle attachments and actions becomes muted and faded. Rekindle your love for kinesiology and bring new analysis and energy to your practice for the benefit of your clients.

Refresh your knowledge of muscle origins, insertions, and actions as they relate to the major joints in our body in this 5 hour workshop.

Primary Movers and Joint Actions will be reviewed for the following:
Head & Neck
Shoulder Joint & Shoulder Girdle
Q&A session (*lunch discussion)
Hip & Gluts
Knee

5 CEs
$25.00 registration, nonmembers
OMTA members: $20.00

*Please bring a sack lunch (Q&A session)

Please register early as space is limited.
